By 26. November 2024November 28th, 2024News Home

The Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor welcomed another distinguished visit in November! The Brazilian Forest Service, part of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, traveled to Santana do Araguaia (Pará) to learn about our project and witness its impact in the region.

Over the course of three days:

  • We introduced the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor, addressing questions about our work and approach.
  • We hosted a roundtable with our partner farmers, strengthening connections and reinforcing our shared commitment to restoration.
  • We visited restoration areas across three partner farms, showcasing the direct impact of our initiatives.
  • The team toured our seedling nursery, where they saw firsthand the entire process from seedling production to planting.
  • We concluded with an inspiring discussion with seed collectors from Ressemear, resulting in a mutually enriching exchange.

At the end of the visit, we recorded a testimonial from Marcus Vinicius Alves, Director of Rural Environmental Regulation, sharing his experience at the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor:

Exchanges like this inspire us to keep moving forward, with partnerships that believe in the potential of a greener future. Our gratitude goes to the Brazilian Forest Service and everyone who made this moment possible!
