“Only through preservation can we have health and a dignified place to live.”

HILDA SANFOLIN JAFAR

Environmentalist & Golfer

About me

On August 30th, 2014, the first BJF Golf tournament took place at the golf course Terras do Golfo in Campo Grande, Brazil. This tournament raised awareness and funds for the Black Jaguar Foundation. Hilda Sanfolin Jafar from Campo Grande had become the first winner of the BJF Golf Trophy. She is not only an enthusiastic golfer but also happens to be an environmentalist at heart.

How I relate to the BJF

“I’m Hilda from Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. I’ve had the privilege of participating in the BJF golf tournament and winning it! As a proud winner of this tournament, I want to create awareness for the creation of the biodiversity corridor along the Araguaia river. They couldn’t have picked a better winner, because I’ve always been involved with environmental preservation. I think this biodiversity corridor is fundamental and really necessary for our country. Only through preservation can we have health and a dignified place to live.”
