About me
Connecting people and adding positive value is the common thread of Gerard’s working life. He has worked as a service provider in many branches, like the catering industry, banking and media. He always aims to surpass the expectations of its guests and customers. Gerard encouraged Ben to start writing the book ‘No Risk, No Life’, which was first published in 2010. Gerard was also instrumental in bringing a major book publisher on board, turning an idea into action.
How I relate to the BJF
“‘The Earth is not ours: we borrow it from our children’ is the title of The Children’s Environment and Health Action Plan of the World Health Organization. As a father, I want to leave this borrowed worlda better place. By being a relationship manager for the Black Jaguar Foundation I can contribute to this goal.
The BJF gives companies and individuals the opportunity to take their responsibility and act. In my former job as a banker, return on investment was always the key factor.
