About us
DAS Netherlands is a joint venture that resulted from the fusion of DAS Munich and eight Dutch composite insurers. It was created in 1963 and has quickly reached the top of its branch, becoming the largest provider of legal expenses insurance in the Netherlands. They have about 630 specialists dealing with 101,000 claims per year, all handled by using high quality technology and service.
How we relate to the BJF
DAS takes its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously. A CSR committee reports annually on the CSR activities of DAS. DAS and the BJF both depend on the implementation of the laws which are set out by the government, in Europe for DAS and in Brazil for the BJF. Outside its own business ecosystem, DAS takes its responsibility by helping to realize the longest biodiversity corridor.
